Three-way loudspeaker TA-500tDP

The TA-500tDP is a networkable, digitally self-powered three-way enclosure with integral flyware comprising a custom HF driver loaded by a high frequency Polyhorn™ device, a custom 10" drive unit on a further Polyhorn™ device optimised for mid frequencies, and a 15" low-mid frequency driver loaded with a TurboBass™ device.

It features a new generation of innovative lightweight Class D amplifiers, utilising revolutionary 96kHz DSP technology to give operating efficiency in excess of 90%. A Powercon connector provides mains input to the auto-sensing switch mode power supply, and 3-pin XLRs are used for input and parallel link signal connections. RJ45 network connectors enable multiple loudspeakers to be controlled and monitored over a BVNet network using TurboDrive™ software.

The TA-500tDP cabinet is trapezoidally shaped with side angles optimised for arraying and close packing and includes an integral rigging system allowing the assembly of simple two-wide and three-wide arrays of cabinets. An optional removable, stackable wheelboard clips on to the front of the cabinet for transportation

Three-way loudspeaker TA-500t

The TA-500t is a trapezoidal switchable bi-amp / tri-amp three-way enclosure comprising a custom HF driver loaded by a high frequency Polyhorn™ device, a custom 10" drive unit on a midrange Polyhorn™ device, and a 15" low-mid frequency driver loaded with a TurboBass™ device.

Both Polyhorn™ designs feature a sharp cut-off at the edges of the coverage pattern, which all but eliminates the comb filtering effects commonly experienced between adjacent sources when arraying conventional horn designs. The TA-500t includes a passive crossover network between the MF and HF drive units for bi-amped operation which can be bypassed for full tri-amped operation by moving an internal jumper.

The TA-500t cabinet is trapezoidally shaped with side angles optimised for arraying and close packing and includes anintegral rigging system allowing the assembly of simple two-wide and three-wide arrays of cabinets. An optional removable, stackable wheelboard clips on to the front of the cabinet for transportation.

A recessed panel at the rear of the cabinet carries two parallel-linked Speakon NL8s for input and loop-through connections, with a further Speakon NL4 which is used for the sub link-out connection.
